It is a compilation of twenty six research papers. It is broadly classified into two sections - the period during which Dnyaneshwar lived and that after him. The second section consists of twelve essays on Mukundraj and post-Mukundraj period. Two appendices are given. One consists of the literature available on Mukundraj. The other discusses his successors.The book starts with a preface reviewing the book.
